Vacation

The BoxHe stared upwards at the gleaming stars in the obsidian sky and pondered the last few days' events.
His shirt was tainted with the blood of his late leader and the dirt of the ground of his island home. His own blood comingled with that of others whom despised him, but he didn't care. He didn't care about anything anymore. Charles was dead. Jacob was dead. Ilana was dead. And Juliet…Ben looked out towards Hydra Island across the sea and sighed. She was gone. Whether dead or just missing he did not know, but to him, she was gone.
There was only one person, well Thing, in his life now, and that was the creature possessing John Locke. EveThe Box by ~MistakenDragon815
Whatever Happened, HappenedDestiny is fickle, false,
A sparkling mirage in the distance,
A guardian with a crooked smile,
An angel with the Devil’s justice,
A hand I took, when I should have run.

Turn a wheel, jump a line,
Cross a desert to get back home.
Names mean nothing, real or fake;
What does it matter which I give?
Neither makes me who I am.

Lies mean nothing more than truth –
Whatever happened, happened.
Under palm-frond, star-crossed skies,
Dreamless sleep and waking nightmares
Haunt the living with the dead.

Blood spills warm, like breaking dawn
Across an enigmatic landscape.

I Know It, You Know ItA chill wind picks up around her as she looks out over the island, and she subconsciously folds her arms across her chest for warmth. The ocean is surprisingly calm today, sparkling gently in the sun. The sky still bears the sluggish grey of morning, though there are some holes in the clouds. The blue of day is breaking through.

A pillar of smoke rises into the sky from somewhere in the south. Juliet knows that it comes from the mid-section of Oceanic flight 815. The tail-section fell somewhere far behind her. If she turned around, she would see no smoke, as it crashed into the ocean. There are survivors despite this. She knows that.

He sits in a café, calm and content, browsing the newspaper that lies in front of him. The coffee that rests to his right has gone cold; the steam has long since stopped reaching for the ceiling. He still doesn't know why he bought the coffee – he supposes that it looks more authentic. A man sitting in a café without a coffee is a man who is up to no good, and for one, he cannot have people questioning his business here. It would be far more problematic and complicated if he did not have the coffee. You might say; the details arSilence in the Noise by ~carbonek
